Two Reportedly Drown in Yar River in Nimba County

NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Two persons have reportedly drowned in the Yar River in Nimba County.

ELBC Correspondent said:” The two men, Lawrence Yeeyea aged 26, and Morris Williams, aged 56, are local staff of Nimba County District Seven Representative, Musa Bility.

They accompanied Representative Bility to a groundbreaking ceremony of a bridge over the River in District Two in the County.

According to our Correspondent, the two persons fell into the river when the canoe in which they were traveling capsized while returning from the groundbreaking ceremony.

Our Correspondent said:” The District Seven Representative was invited to the groundbreaking of the bridge by Nimba County District Two Representative, Nyan Flomo.”
