Pres. Boakai Calls for Unity and Support to Education…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai is calling for unity and more support to the educational system in tackling challenges that tend to impede Africa’s growth and development.

President Boakai said:” With unity, corruption, greed and overwhelming barriers to acquiring quality education in Liberia and Africa can be addressed.”

According to President Boakai, Liberia remains keen on forging tangible partnerships with Clark Atlanta University and other meaningful institutions to empower young people through educational opportunities.

He said education, as a key pillar of the ARREST Agenda, remains a driving force to nation-building and cohesion.

Meanwhile, the President of Clark Atlanta University, Dr. George French, has described the visit of the Liberian Delegation as a step in the right direction.

Dr. French said:” The University stands ready to partner with Liberian-owned universities in exploring educational initiatives that tend to empower citizens.”

He believes that investing in the educational system is critical to a nation’s growth and development.

The President of Atlanta University made the remarks when a high-power Liberian Delegation, headed by President Joseph Boakai paid the institution a courtesy visit on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
