Public Works Ministry to Commence Roads Pavement in Grand Kru County

GRAND KRU COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Public Works Ministry has announced plans to commence road pavement of 71.8 kilometers in Grand Kru County and has begun holding dialogue on the resettlement process of affected houses through the National Road Fund (NRF) program.

Speaking in Grand Kru County recently, the Ministry’s Director of Resettlement, Armando Paye, said:” The roads from Barclayville to Norkwia, Norkwia to Sass town, and from Norkwia to Niplakpo will be paved with Asphalt.”

Mr. Paye noted that the Ministry wants to have a direct link from Grand Kru to Sinoe Counties, disclosing that funding for the road construction has been secured and ready for effective implementation by the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development, through the NRF.

Mr. Armando Paye hailed past and current administrations for the role played in bringing relief to the country and citizens living in the Southeastern Region of Liberia.
