Liberia Nat’l Police Sends Six Additional Officers to South Sudan

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police has announced the departure of six additional officers to South Sudan on a peacekeeping mission.

They include Officers Lewis Chede, Francis Tarwin, Bangaly Saysay, Mercy Tamba, Jesse Towouh and Catherine Gbezial.

Police Inspector General Col. Gregory Coleman disclosed this on Monday, August 13, 2024, in Monrovia.

The Police Inspector General urged the Liberian Mission police officers to uphold ethical standards to protect the image of the LNP and the country at large in the performance of their duties.

This latest development brings to ten the number of officers of the Liberia National Police deployed in South Sudan on a peacekeeping mission, affirming its commitment to global peace and stability.
