MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia has congratulated Singapore in commemoration of its 59th Independence Anniversary on Friday, August 9.
A Foreign Ministry release issued recently said President Joseph Boakai conveyed the congratulatory message to his Singaporean Counterpart Tharman Shanmugaratnam, the Government, and the people of Singapore.
The release also quotes the Liberian Leader as recounting the excellent bond of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and expressed hope to explore new areas of cooperation.
President Boakai also expressed optimism that the strong partnership between Liberia and Singapore will be further strengthened to support the Government’s Arrest Agenda.
President Joseph Boakai then wished President Shanmugaratnam continued wisdom and strength, as he leads his people to greater prosperity.
