Gov. Liberia Describes Fallen Liberian Journalist Cholo Brooks as Nationalist…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has described fallen veteran Liberian Journalist Cholo Brooks, as a nationalist whose valuable role in the media remains unmatched.

Mr. Brooks died recently in Monrovia, following a protracted illness.

Speaking on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the MICAT Regular Press Briefing, Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah, on behalf of the Government of Liberia, consoled the Liberian Media and family members of the deceased.

The Late Brooks once served as the BBC Correspondent to Liberia, and later worked at the Liberia News Agency (LINA).

Mr. Cholo Brooks was a media trainer and the Managing Publisher of the Global News Network (GNN).
