MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has disclosed plans of elevating the Booker Washington Institute (BWI) in Margibi County to a technical college.

President Boakai said:” This will afford young people the opportunity to acquire technical knowledge and improve their living standards.

The Liberian Leader said education, which remains a key pillar of this administration, holds the key to unlocking the potential of the youthful population of Liberia.

He also urged citizens to put aside individual differences and unite in fast-tracking the developmental agenda of the country.

President Boakai disclosed at the groundbreaking ceremony of the proposed Bethesda Mission project over the weekend in Margibi County.
