Cocopa Rubber Plantation Resumes Operations…

NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Normal operations have resumed at the Cocopa Rubber Plantation in Nimba County, following a peace dialogue with local leaders.

It followed intervention by the County District Eight and Two Representatives, Saye Yannah and Yahn Flomo.

Recently, some traditional people stopped the operations of the Company for reportedly failing to pay rental fees to the affected communities.

But, following the interventions by two lawmakers, the Company has assured residents to adhere to its obligation soon.

Meanwhile, local leaders and residents thanked their lawmakers for the interventions.
