Three Indicted Young Men Pleaded Not Guilty to Murder Charge

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Three young men who are on trial at Criminal Court ‘A’ for alleged murder have pleaded not guilty to the charge levied against them.

The Government indicted defendants Ballah Mulbah, Geebo Conteh, and Sumo Kerkulah for allegedly causing the death of Sackie Tokpah on December 18, 2023, in Artington, Montserrado County.

Sackie and his friends reportedly went on a hunting expedition in Artington, where they reportedly encountered Ballah Mulbah, who insisted that they were not authorized to hunt on that side of the forest.

An argument ensued, and in the process, defendant Ballah and his friend allegedly tied up the deceased before descending on him.

According to the indictment, the defendants beat the deceased with sticks and other objects, causing him pain before eventually succumbing to death due to internal bleeding.
