Nat’l Identification Registry, Civil Service Agency Sign Memorandum of Understanding

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Identification Registry (NIR) and the Civil Service Agency (CSA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen inter-agency for improved service delivery in the Public Sector.

At the signing ceremony on Monday, May 27, 2024, the NIR Executive Director, Andrew Peters, said:” The process will help save resources, and prevent fraud, duplications, and double dipping.”

Mr. Peters noted that it would ensure that the entity and the CSA work together in using the National Identification System to help in the employee verification headcount process.

Meanwhile, the CSA Director General, Josiah Joekai, welcomed the process and added that it would reduce the huge wage bill on the Government of Liberia.

The CSA Boss said:” It will also help attach effectiveness to the Government’s operations, restoring integrity and not to witch-hunt active employees of the Government.”
