Former VP Howard Calls on Women to Unite in Fighting Sexual Gender Base Violence

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Former Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor has called on women to unite in fighting Sexual Gender Based (SBG) violence against women and children in Liberia and the world at large.

Speaking on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the UN Women National Women Leadership and Entrepreneurship Conference in Paynesville, Madam Howard-Taylor called on women to support each other.

She cautioned women to be more sensitive about their children’s welfare.

The conference was intended to accelerate the personal and professional development of women and provide guidance, capacity building, and the diversification of women volunteers.

It was also intended to enhance women’s political actors’ knowledge of the importance of women’s participation at the highest level of decision-making.
