Civil Service Agency launches Employees Status Regularization Project

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Civil Service Agency (CSA) has launched the Employees Status Regularization Project across Government Ministries and Agencies.

CSA Director General, Josiah Joekai, said:” The Agency is concluding national head counts for civil servants as initial step towards holistic Government’s Payroll Audit regime.”

Director Joekai said,” The move aims to track potential ghost names and non-active Government employees who are still receiving salaries.”

The CSA Boss also announced that several unidentified individuals’ names have been blocked, following the completion of head counts at the Ministries of State and Foreign Affairs and the Civil Service Agency.

Mr. Josiah Joekai disclosed this on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at a MICAT Press briefing in Monrovia.
