MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A high-power delegation led by Chief Justice Sie-A-Nyeneh Yuoh and the Liberia Bar Association (LNBA) President, Cllr. Sylvester Rennie is attending a week-long conference in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The Conference, hosted by the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice, is held under the theme:” Enhancing the Role, Relevance, and Effectiveness of the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice through the Strengthening of Synergies between the Court and National Stakeholders.”

The ECOWAS 2024 International Conference brings together jurists, scholars, and other stakeholders from the institution, agencies, and member states.

The LNBA, in a statement issued on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, said the importance of the conference cannot be overemphasized because it aims to generate constructive discussions around the strengths and weaknesses of the Court’s relationship with various national stakeholders.

It also aims to explore practical solutions that can be adopted to strengthen the relationships to enhance the role, relevance, and effectiveness of the Court.
