Pres. Boakai Says Liberia is opened for Investments…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph says Liberia is open to investment opportunities, especially in agriculture.

President Boakai said:” Given the Country’s rich forest and soil, investing in agriculture will accelerate national growth and development.”

He told a panel on high-level dialogue in Dallas on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, that with the needed partnership, Liberia can begin to benefit from its vastly untapped Agriculture Sector.

President Boakai used the occasion to reveal the Government of Liberia’s plan to reduce the importation of rice by seventy percent to boost local production.

The Liberian Leader, however, craved the support of international partners for the Government to meet its targeted goal.
