MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus Chair has awarded fifty scholarships to deserving students of the Grand Kru Technical College.

According to a recent release, Senator Numene Bartekwa said:” I am awarding the scholarships to motivate students to acquire quality education, especially for those who cannot afford to underwrite tuition and other fees.”

In a related development, the Co-Chair and member of the Board of the College, Dr. Josephus Gray, and Benjamin Bedell, have also awarded five scholarships to deserving students, respectively.

The release says the Grand Kru Technical College has since commenced academic activities in early May this year to cater to the educational quest of Southeastern Liberia’s people.

The College offers a two-year Associate degree in Agriculture, Engineering and Technology, Business, Natural Sciences, and Education, among others.
