Former US Ambassador to Liberia Extols Pres. Boakai…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Former US Ambassador to Liberia, Linda Thomas Greenfield, has extolled President Joseph Boakai for endorsing the establishment of a War and Economic Crimes Court in Liberia.

Madam Greenfield said:” The decision will promote human rights in the Country and end the culture of impunity.”

Presidential Press Secretary Kula Fofana told ELBC’s Super Morning Show on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, that the US Envoy made the statement on Monday during an engagement with President Boakai on the sideline of the US-Africa Business Summit.

She said before the meeting, President Boakai held discussions with Executive Members of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Former US President, George Bush, among others.

Meanwhile, Madam Kula Fofana disclosed that plans are underway for the Liberian Leader to hold talks with several heads of state and business partners to help boost key sectors of the Liberian Government.
