MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives has unanimously voted to pass the 2024 National Budget.

The Budget was passed at over seven hundred thirty-eight million US Dollars after intense scrutiny.

The House of Representatives’ Committee Chair on Ways, Means, Finance, Dixon Seboe, said:” The passage of the National Budget will now allow the Executive to fast-track ongoing development.”

Representative Seboe said sectors such as education, health, security, and others were hugely prioritized during the budget deliberations.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives has forwarded the budget to the Liberian Senate for concurrence.
