Montserrado County District #3 Rep. Attributes Drug Abuse, Addiction to Unemployment

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Montserrado County District-Three Representative has attributed widespread drug abuse and addiction to unemployment.

Representative Sumo Mulbah said: “The Government of Liberia should provide job opportunities for skilled youth to serve as a recipe to discourage them from bad social habits.”

Representative Mulbah described as appalling and unacceptable to see young people roaming the streets without jobs.

He also called for increased awareness to reduce the rampant drugs abuse addiction across the Country.

The Montserrado County District-Three Lawmaker believes such awareness will serve as boost to the Boakai-led Administration, amid the declaration of National Emergency on Drugs and Substance Abuse.
