MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The 10th Annual Conference of the National Association of Trial Judges of Liberia opens today, Thursday, at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia.
The three-day legal gathering will include the election of a new corps of officers to steer the affairs of the Association for three years.
According to ELBC Judicial Reporter, Sweden Ambassador to Liberia Urban Sjostrom will serve as Keynote Speaker, while former Chief Justice Francis Korkpor, Associate Justice Yusif Kaba, and Cllr. Felecia Coleman is expected to deliver the papers.
The Conference will be held under the theme: “The Judiciary and Democracy in Liberia, Safeguarding Democratic Values in the Legal System.”
Accredited delegates to the Conference are legal practitioners drawn from across the Country.
