Fire Investigators Probe Monday’s Fire Incident at Transport Ministry in Monrovia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Fire investigators are probing the cause of Monday’s fire outbreak at the Ministry of Transport in Monrovia.

Fire Chief, Col. Alex Dixon, told ELBC that preliminary findings on the fire outbreak are expected today, Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

The report said the fire incident also disrupted normal activities and destroyed documents at the Ministry.

However, the Ministry of Transport has clarified that major documents remained undamaged after fire gutted the Ministry’s facilities.

The Head of Communication at the Ministry of Transport, Lemuel Kleeme, said normal operations will shortly commence at the Ministry.
