Criminal Court “A” to Hear Closing Arguments in Charloe’s Murder Trial

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court ‘A’ is expected to entertain final arguments between State Prosecutors and the Defense Team in the murder case involving former Chief Justice of Liberia, Gloria Musu Scott,  and three others on Thursday, December 21.

After final arguments, jurors are expected to hand down either guilty, not guilty, or hang verdict in favor of or against Defendants Musu-Scott, Rebecca Wisner, Alice Johnson, and Gertrude Newton.

State Prosecutors have since produced thirteen witnesses, two subpoenaed and one rebuttal.

During previous hearings, the Defense Team also produced four key witnesses, and seven subpoenaed to testify.

Defendants Gloria Musu-Scott, Gertrude Newton, and Alice Johnson, are facing trial for allegedly murdering Charloe Musu on February 22, 2023, at their Barnesville Residence.
