MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A thirty-four-year-old man who allegedly murdered his girlfriend out of jealousy has been sent to jail by the Monrovia City Court.

Defendant Sam Brown, a resident of Bong Mines Bridge Community, allegedly committed the act when he spent the night at victim Alice Mollie’s house on November 19, 2023.

Police investigation revealed that a scuffle ensued between the couple in the early morning hours of November 19, when the suspect intercepted the victim’s call.

The argument later turned into a fight which h eventually left Alice unconscious, with Sam fleeing the scene. He was later arrested by police in Butaw, Sinoe County.

ELBC Reporter quotes the police investigation as saying the action of the suspect was premeditated, as they both were no longer living together due to his constant assault and jealousy.
