MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Bhofal Chambers, is calling on Liberians to emulate the exemplary leadership of President George Weah in maintaining the country’s peace.

Speaker Chambers commended President Weah for conceding defeat to the Unity Party (UP) in a peaceful atmosphere.

According to him, President Weah’s peacekeeping role has not only branded him globally as a man of peace but also raised the bar for other leaders to emulate.

Speaking at the Headquarters of the Congress for       Democratic Change (CDC) on Thursday, November 23, 2023, Dr. Chambers charged partisans and Liberians in general to refrain from acts that undermine the country’s peace process.

He warned:” Do not allow those called “self-seeking politicians” to misdirect your energies into destructive activities, which will not promote a better tomorrow for you.”
