Former Chief Justice Scott Pleads “Not Guilty”…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Former Chief Justice, Gloria Musu Scott, has pleaded not guilty, after being indicted by the Liberian Government over a murder charge.

The former Chief Justice and three family members are facing trial for allegedly murdering Charloe Musu in February this year.

Defendant Musu Scott told the court and jury on Thursday, November 16, 2023, that the alleged intruder entered her home on that fateful day and took away all the locks to have access.

The former Chief Justice said:” I pepper sprayed the attacker in the eyes after I screamed several times for help at my Brewerville residence.”

Madam Scott told the court that she raised the late Charloe and there was no way that any member of her family would murder her.
