Phase Two of Presidential Debate Ongoing in Gbarnga…

BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA- Phase Two of the Presidential Debate is taking place in Gbarnga, Bong County.

Internews, with support from USAID, is conducting two debates for Presidential Candidates ahead of the October 10, 2023, General Elections.

The first debate was held at the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town on Tuesday, October 4, 2023, while the last was held in Gbarnga.

Debates in elections are platforms used by candidates vying for elective positions to articulate their political manifestos to the electorates.
