State Prosecutors Withdraw Motion for Change of Venue State Prosecutors Withdraw Motion for Change of Venue

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-State Prosecutors in the murder case involving former Chief Justice, Gloria Musu Scott, and three others; have withdrawn the motion for change of venue.

Recently, the prosecution filed a fourteen-count motion for a change of venue to Criminal Court ‘A’ as provided for Criminal Procedure Law.

The Motion of Withdrawal, a copy of which is in possession of ELBC, is dated August 7, 2023, and addressed to Criminal Court ‘A’ Judge, indicating that they reserve the right to re-file, should the need arise.

Meanwhile, the Prosecution also requested the Judge of Criminal Court ‘A’ to order the clerk to place the notice of withdrawal on the court records.
