“Exercise constitutional rights and civic duties…”-Catholic Diocese of Cape Palmas

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Catholic Diocese of Cape Palmas is urging Liberians to exercise their constitutional rights and civic duties, by fully participating in the Civic and Voters Education Campaign (CVE).

Bishop Andrew Karnley said:” The CVE is a national platform created by the National Elections Commission (NEC) to educate electorates on the electoral processes.”

Bishop Karnley named character, knowledge, experience, and vision as good qualities for people vying for elective positions at the national level.

He cautioned Liberians to make realistic choices by casting their ballots for individuals who meet the standards of good leadership, as opposed to choices of incentive-driven at the detriment of the country.

According to a release issued recently, Bishop Andrew Karnley’s remarks were contained in a statement issued following the launch of the nationwide Civic and Voter Education Campaign by the National Elections Commission.
