MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Several health facilities, and orphanages have benefitted from huge cash and rice donations from President George Weah, ahead of the Independence Day celebrations.

Some of the benefitting health facilities include the John Kennedy Memorial Hospital, ELWA Hospital, SOS Health Center,14 Military Hospital, James N. Davis, and all major hospitals across the country.

President Weah donated over one million Liberian Dollars and thirty-thousand bags of 25kg of rice.

Making the presentation on Monday, July 24, 2023, the Coordinator for Special Services in the Office of the President, To Weseh, said:” The gesture is the Liberian Leader’s appreciation for the invaluable services hospitals and clinics have rendered the country over the years.”

Responding, administrators of some of the benefitting health facilities lauded President George Weah for the gesture and promised to use the money and rice for the purpose intended.
