“Unity Party Standard Bearer Made No Tangible on Liberians…”-Mr. Jackson

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Renowned Liberian Economist Samuel Jackson says the Unity Party (UP) Standard Bearer, Joseph Boakai, has made no tangible on the lives of the Liberian people in his over forty-five years in public service.

Mr. Jackson stated that Ambassador Boakai has been nothing more than a self-admitting parked vehicle in the garage, unable to move because of his faulty political engine.

Appearing on the ELBC nighttime magazine program, Open Conversation, the Liberian Economist also expressed serious disappointment with the past government to have spent over one billion US Dollars to refurbish the Mount Coffee Hydropower Plant that only delivered ten percent of electricity.

According to Mr. Jackson, the refurbished power dam was a technically deficient political dam that only presented an asset of no utility value.

Mr. Jackson said:” It had to take the intervention of the Weah-led administration, through the CLSG contracted energy arrangement, to augment Liberia’s electricity grid to 30-percent access.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Samuel Jackson has dispelled opposition falsehoods against the Weah Administration credited for ensuring microeconomic stability that has spurred development and created jobs and opportunities in the formal and informal sectors of Liberia.
