“Volunteerism is crucial to service delivery in the nation building process”-ECOWAS Rep. Nkrumah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-ECOWAS Resident Representative to Liberia, Josephine Nkrumah, says volunteerism is crucial to service delivery in the nation-building process.

Speaking on Tuesday, April 19, 2023, in Monrovia, at the induction of nine volunteers, Madam Nkrumah said the ECOWAS –Volunteer program is the Bloc’s desire to integrate and transform people of the region.

She challenged the fourth batch of the program from Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria, to champion the cause of the Bloc and be ambassadors of peace and rebuilding the region.

Ambassador Nkrumah urged the volunteers to adhere to ECOWAS values and abstain from politics in Liberia.
