Civil Law Court Issues Writ of Summons against Former VP Boakai

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Law Court has issued a Writ of Summon for former Vice President and Standard Bearer of the Unity Party (UP), Joseph Boakai.

Defendant Joseph Boakai’s summons was a result of a complaint against him on allegations of removal of cloud over land deed is situated in Caldwell, Montserrado County.

The writ also ordered that Defendant Boakai should file his returns to answer the charges levied against him on or before April 22, 2023.

According to the Court, a default judgment will be rendered against the former Vice President, if he sails to file his returns as requested.
