Citizens of Salayea Present Several Development Requests to Government

Monrovia, Liberia – Liberian Leader George Weah has received several development project requests from the people of Salayea District, Lofa County to be undertaken in the area.

The young people, through their President Nagba Mawolo, named the construction of a TVET Institute, the provision of scholarships, and the equipment of the only youth center in the area.

Mr. Mawolo also petitioned the President to intervene and elevate Salayea to an electoral district and build a referral hospital to cater to the health needs of citizens from nearby towns and villages.

For his part, the Commissioner of Salayea District, Ben Golumah, named reconciliation, peace, and development as priorities of the District.

Commissioner Golumah also requested President Weah’s support to extend the pavement of the road from Salayea to Manikormah.

Meanwhile, marketers have asked the President to build them a market building while the District Representative, Beyan Howard has praised the Liberian Leader for providing three ambulances to the district and improving the Zorzor Hospital.
