MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Minister of Internal Affairs, Varney Sirleaf, says a peaceful Liberia is vital to the socio–economic growth and wellbeing of all Liberians.

Minister Sirleaf wants Liberians to be preoccupied with the sustenance of the peace and stability Liberia currently enjoys.

He said:” A peaceful Liberia will attract more investors and employment opportunities to boost the country’s economy.”

Minister Sirleaf spoke Tuesday, April 6,2021, in Monrovia, when members of the National Tribal Governors Council of Liberia paid him a courtesy call, in appreciation for ensuring that peace is maintained at the Local Government level.

Speaking earlier, the President of the Council, Musu Thompson, lauded Minister Sirleaf for his numerous efforts in promoting peace in the Country.
