Nat’l Elections Commission orders recount…..

RIVERCESS COUNTY, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) has ordered a recount in seven of the one-hundred-eleven polling places in Rivercess County.

It followed a ruling in the Rivercess County Electoral dispute, after independent candidate Steve Teaquah filed a complaint about electoral fraud in the County.

Prior to the ruling, the NEC had earlier declared Wellington Geevon-Smith winner in the just-ended Senatorial Election in Rivercess County.
