Residents of Monrovia, others get water supply

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Residents of Monrovia and other parts have begun receiving water supply, following two weeks of water shortage.

Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) Communication Director, Nipson Todd, attributed the water shortage to a major breakdown of its supply lines.

Mr. Todd thanked the LWSC technicians for their diligence and commitment to duty.

In another development, the LWSC Communication Director disclosed that the Corporation has also begun the payment of salary arrears to employees for three months.

In recent weeks, striking workers of the Corporation have paralyzed normal working activities prior to the payment process.
