Liberia health authorities recommence risk communication messages due to the return of coronavirus in the country

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Health authorities in Liberia say they have embarked on re-awakening their risk communication messages to the public.

The National Coordinator of the National Public Health Emergency Operations Centers, Abraham Nyensuah, said this followed the re-emergence of coronavirus in Liberia.

Mr. Nyensuah said modalities are being worked out to step up risk communication messages to ensure the public understands the unfolding in the wake of a new outbreak of the virus.

Speaking to ELBC Tuesday, October 27, 2020, the NPHIL official disclosed the re-location of the Coronavirus Testing Center for travelers from the Samuel K. Doe Sports Complex to the Lebanese Culture Union in Sinkor.

On Monday, health authorities confirmed 21 new cases of coronavirus in Liberia.
