MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah says global solidarity is important in addressing the many complex problems confronting the world.
President Weah said:” Through globalization, world leaders can work together to fight diseases and pandemics, including poverty and prevent wars.”
The Liberian Leader said:” Liberia, as a founding member of the United Nations, will continue to work along with other world leaders to address these challenges.”
President Weah spoke Wednesday, September 23, 2020, when he addressed the 75th General Assembly of the UN.
He also praised world leaders for the solidarity exhibited in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
President Weah has meanwhile, called on leaders of the world to rise above division and work together for a more united world.
