The focus of Gov. is to decentralize dev. projects-Finance Minister Tweah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Samuel Tweah, says the focus of the Government is to decentralize its development projects across the Country.

Minister Tweah said:” With support from international development partners, the Liberian Government has been able to stabilize the economy, pay salaries of civil servants on time and build roads.”

Minister Tweah said there is no debate about salary delay and the economy ahead of the December 8, 2020 Senatorial election, because Government is implementing its development projects.

The Finance Minister spoke Sunday, August 16, 2020, when a group of Muslim Youth endorsed the senatorial bid of Representative Thomas Fallah.

At the same time, Representative Thomas Fallah says the development of Montserrado County heavily depends on the December 8 Senatorial Election.

Representative Fallah said:” The upcoming election is a perfect opportunity for the people of Montserrado County to elect someone who can bring development through the Executive.”

Representative Fallah promised to work along with the Central Government and those in key positions, to initiate development projects, especially in rural Montserrado County.

The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) Montserrado County Senatorial candidate spoke Sunday, when he was endorsed by the National Muslim Youth Congress of Liberia in Monrovia.

In their endorsement statement, the Chairman of the National Muslim Youth Congress, Sualiah Massalay, said:” Representative Fallah is best suited to bring development and peaceful co-existence among Muslims and Christians.”
