Pres. Weah congratulates the Ivory Coast on its 59th Independence Anniversary

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has congratulated his Ivoirian counterpart, President Alassane Ouattara, on the 59th Independence Anniversary of the Ivory Coast.

President Weah, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, wished President Ouattara and the people of Ivory Coast success as they commemorate that Country’s National Day,

A Foreign Ministry release issued Thursday, August 6, 2020, quotes President Weah as expressing the hope that the cordial ties subsisting between their two countries and people will be strengthened.

The Liberian Leader then prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow President Ouattara with wisdom as he leads the people of the Ivory Coast to greater prosperity.
