Senate Leadership reviews complaint against Senator Darius Dillon

MONROVIA, LIBERIA: The Leadership of the Liberian Senate is reviewing a complaint from Lofa County Senator, George Tengbeh, against Montserrado County Senator, Darius Dillon.

Senate Tengbeh, in a communication to the Senate Plenary Thursday, May 28, 2020, called on the August Body to investigate Senator Dillon for accusing his colleagues alleging that they took bribes to pass the recast budget.

The Lofa County Lawmaker also accused Senator Dillon of disrupting session and disrespecting the Senate’s Leadership.

Senator Tengbeh frowned on his colleague for describing members of the Senate as spineless for exercising their rights to vote for an instrument.

He further complained that such comments have brought that August Body to public ridicule and has injured the characters of the rest of Senators.
